Tony Jaa will star in director Prachya Pinkaew’s sequel movie The Protector 2. The first movie focused on a young Thai elephant herder traveling to Australia to rescue the family’s pachyderms from evil poachers. Nathan Lane and Robert Emms have been cast in director Tarsem Singh’s untitled Snow White movie for Relativity Media. They join Julia Roberts, Lily Collins and Armie Hammer in what is called, “a spectacular reimagining of the classic fairy tale.” Filming starts in June. [Press Release]

Tommy Lee Jones, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Hal Holbrook, James Spader, John Hawkes, Tim Blake Nelson, Bruce McGill and Joseph Cross are forming the cast of director Steven Spielberg’s Lincoln for DreamWorks. Tony Kushner wrote the screenplay, an adaptation of Doris Kearns Goodwin’s book Team of Rivals. Film is due out late in 2012. [Press Release]
